Atmospheric photography 2007-2017
This collection showcases my fascination with moody photography. I owe credit (in part)
to electro-industrial band Skinny Puppy’s theatrical aesthetic and repeated viewings of
A Nightmare on Elm Street as a child. The melancholy nature of Skinny Puppy’s music,
and the hazy dream sequences of Elm Street etched their way into my subconscious
and is echoed in my art.
Natural light is not just an esthetic choice, but an attempt to understand my subjects.
Whether photographing decaying buildings, abandoned homes, or haunted people I see
everything as portraits. I try to capture the character and beauty in forgotten and
abandoned spaces to show the exquisiteness of what most would view as gloomy, or
As a self-taught photographer, my skills have been used commercially, editorially, on
film sets, and for musician’s promotional materials.

Eoley Mulally is a multi-media artist, illustrator, and print maker based in sometimes Pittsburgh, sometimes Savannah, and sometimes New Orleans (and calls all 3: Home.) Her work is influenced by street artists like Margaret Kilgallen and Swoon; magic realist writing of Jeanette Winterson; and goth/historical revision of Rasputina. Using found and thrifted material, Mulally meditates while line drawing feminine, spiritual, and natural subjects then mass produces the images via silk screen to replace and revise on endless stages of canvas, collage, fabric, and frame.

Join us for the second annual
Pour at the Park!
September 8, 2017
5:30 - 8:30 PM at North Park
You are invited to the inaugural POUR AT THE PARK on Friday, SEPT 9th to benefit the Allegheny County Parks Foundation. North Park is home to Pittsburgh's new craft beer festival as part of Construction Junction's The Steel City Big Pour week!
For more info and tickets, click on Allegheny County Parks Foundation above.
Come join us for a "Meet and Greet Reception" for September's featured artist, Denise Duryea.
Denise Duryea was raised by hippies (not the pot smoking kind of hippy, but the dig wells in Africa and knit sweaters from your own sheeps' wool kind) on a farm in central pa. However, being by nature an enthusiastic urbanite she ran screaming from all that buccolic beauty. She has been an adopted yinzer ever since, punctuated by bouts of wanderlust. While not voraciously quaffing pints of kombucha she wanders around the city with wonder in her eyes. Then she goes home and makes the stuff and things into different stuff while watching Buffy or Xena kick ass.
Come find us at the "Squirrel Hill Night Market"! We'll be there ready to fill growlers or just get a cup of some of our refreshing kombucha to walk around with and enjoy at the market.
